In 2002, I bid farewell to Yorkshire, England, and set off for an adventure in Auckland, New Zealand. Fast forward two years, and there I was with my wife, Faith, launching Superior Hair Salon. Our aspiration was clear - we wanted to empower people, from women desiring luscious, long locks to men seeking confidence with their hair loss, and to offer solace to cancer patients facing hair loss due to chemotherapy. We firmly believed the only path to this goal was via affordable, high-quality hair extensions. And so, Superior Hair was born, specializing in top-notch human hair extensions, wigs, and men’s toupees. The joy on our customers' faces as they marvel at their transformed hair, and the success stories of our wholesale clients are the true rewards of our efforts. Despite the joys, running the business wasn't without its trials. We grappled with fluctuating hair quality. We tried various solutions – visiting suppliers’ factories more often, providing detailed specifications, and even paying extra premiums. But the quality inconsistencies remained. It was then we realized the secret to guaranteeing quality was to be in control of the production.
